Welcome to yet another Flash Fiction Friday. A picture might be worth a thousand words, but today it’s worth 100 no more, no less. Thanks for stopping by and please follow the links to get to the other FFF posts. Now here are my 100.
James approached the house. It had been years since he’s
seen Gloria in all her beauty. Leaving was the best thing for her since he was
so poor, but now he had money to support her. He would now claim what was his.
The porch light shone from above, spilling through the trees

Oh man, such a bummer. I hope now he can find a woman that wont let him go. The feeling I get after reading this flash matches the bleakness of the picture. Well done.
ReplyDeleteOh no! She was no longer his. Heartbreaking for him. Great flasher Bonni, good to see you back
ReplyDeleteCertainly not what he expected to find from the looks of it. Apparently, he waited too long.
ReplyDeleteTime waits for no one. Far too often we think tomorrow is promised and we can wait, but we can't. James rolled the dice and gambled that Gloria would be waiting for him, sadly he was wrong. She moved on with her life, now he needs to do the same thing. An excellent Flash Ms. Bonni, well done.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, seize the day.
ReplyDeleteVery romantic tale but proof that time waits for no man. Excellent
